The Story of Lesy
Florentine Fairytale
Florence is a city of flowers – the very name means ‘blossoming’. At the heart of this ancient and beautiful Italian city, Italian flowers in the form of exquisite couture dresses are being handcrafted by artisan craftswomen at Maison Lesy.
The fashion house was founded in 1964 by Lisetta Cosetti. It´s still family-owned today. From the beginning, the company has been crafting couture dresses for girls aged 2 – 16 years.
Signature Style
We are in love with Lesy’s fairytale creations which are breathtaking and like nothing else. Each design is handmade in small numbers and so, they are all rare, special and to be treasured. Gorgeous dresses in feminine colours, made from liquid silk, layered tulle, fan pleats, delicate, intricate detailing – such as flowers, beautiful enough to be real!
The romanticism of Florence is evident in every piece. Florence has a deep and ancient history; so, too have Lesy dresses – each one is handmade in the heart of Florence, each detail carefully applied, each stitch, a loving celebration of Italian craftmanship.
The accessories complete the fairytale look – fur bolero jackets, bags blooming with flowers.
Lesy Today
Lesy recently celebrated its 50th anniversary, in 2014. In the 2 years preceding, Lesy has become ever better-known, and yet the company maintains its roots and traditional way of working. One of Lesy’s newest designs is ‘A Tribute to Florence’, an exquisite design in the same shade of blue as the skies above Florence with a print of the Florentine cityscape, transporting the wearer and everyone around her to this historic, romantic land.
Lesy is known worldwide. To this day they continue to make dresses and ship them from Italy to dozens of countries around the world.
